Who publishes the guides?
Autism Parent Guide is published by Elite Digital AI Solutions Ltd, registered in England and Wales, Company No. 17250017. We provide autism information and free communication resources for parents and carers.
How do we use sources?
We draw on health and education sources such as the NHS, NICE, CDC and ASHA. References are listed on each guide. We aim to link claims to the relevant source and explain uncertainty in plain language. Practical examples are suggestions to adapt, not clinical prescriptions or promises about outcomes.
What does the review information mean?
General practitioner (GP) — name withheld. A general practitioner (GP), who prefers to remain anonymous, has been involved in reviewing the site since its development began and as content has been added. This describes ongoing involvement in the site. Individual article review dates and the scope of each review are not currently published. We respect his choice to remain anonymous. This is not a claim of specialist review in every subject. A reference does not imply endorsement by the source organisation.
What does the content date mean?
An updated date records a change to the page content. It is not a clinical review date. We keep content dates consistent across the page, sitemap and downloadable text, and do not change article dates merely because the site is rebuilt.
How do we write about autism?
We use respectful language and recognise that preferences differ. Support should help autistic children communicate, participate and feel safe as themselves. We do not offer online diagnoses, cure claims or guaranteed outcomes. Country-specific processes, such as EHCPs in England and IEPs in the United States, should be labelled clearly.
How do corrections work?
