How we write autism parent guides
What does a finished page contain?
A question-shaped title, a verdict in the first 60 words, who should skip it, question-shaped headings each followed by a 40–60 word answer, sourced claims, FAQs, a last-reviewed date that matches the sitemap, and a Markdown twin at the same URL with .md.
That contract is also the editorial policy. Tools (card builder, schedules, meltdown helper, signs notes) are part of the same site so a parent can act the same evening — they are not a separate app with a paywall.
How are numbers handled?
If we do not have a primary source and a capture date, we do not invent a figure. "We do not know" is publishable. An invented wait time is a defect. Country-specific legal timelines (for example the 20-week EHCP clock in England) are labelled as such.
How do machines read this?
llms.txt, llms-full.txt, aeo-chunks.json, per-page Markdown, and a live /mcp JSON-RPC surface. Groups in robots.txt each carry their own Content-Signal line.
